Do not drink alcohol for 2 days prior to your procedure. Consuming pineapple 2-3 days before your procedure will also help with bruising. You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
Apply cool compresses to injection site (gently, without firm pressure) for 5 minutes up to 4 times a day. Avoid sun exposure as long as bruising persists. Avoid massaging the injection area. Avoid vigorous exercise for 24 hours. Stay hydrated. Apply topical Arnica Montana gel/cream (available at Thistle, GNC and Whole Foods) to affected area several times a day.
